Sunday 28th October 2007 (10pm)
Today the reality of making the trip to India hit home as we talked about how, where and when we are to be at the airport on Wednesday.
We have all been jagged and the visas been obtained and so we are “ready for liftoff!!” The only thing that we now need to do is to make sure that the Imodium is packed and that we take enough cotton clothes as it’s going to be hot, hot hot!!
I was speaking to Adam today and in Thane the temperature is in the mid 30’s (around 86 degrees F) now for the next wee while. The last rain was three weeks ago. The last rain in Glasgow was about three hours ago and it was around 60 degrees F!
We are all excited about making the trip and being able to spend time with Adam, Jo, Alastair and Freya in their “work” environment and I am sure that this will throw up many challenges to us.
During the trip (that will last 9 days) we hope to be able to blog with pictures and stories about the people and situations that we meet and would really welcome your comments and questions on what you see.
